The Training Center is your tool for creating and sharing product training videos with your connected retailers. It helps you keep retail sales teams informed and prepared to sell your brands—which is especially useful in cases where in-person training isn’t feasible or timely.
How to get there
Click the menu in the top-left corner of the page, then select video_library Training Center.
What's possible with Training Center
Upload product training videos
You can upload training videos from your computer or directly from your phone. This makes it easy to create video content while you're in a showroom or at market.
You can record and upload videos on the spot directly from your phone, or record them first, edit on your computer, and upload later.
You can manage and upload to your video library right from the Training Center page.
Use the Summary field to quickly communicate key points or takeaways for your videos.
Uploaded videos can be associated with specific products or collections.
Associate videos with collections
When uploading, you can tag a video to a specific collection from your catalog.
When associated, the video will appear as an available training on the product details page of relevant products—but only for retail employees who are Connected with you as their sales rep.
This makes it easy for salespeople to access product-specific guidance right when they need it.
How to tag videos to a collection
Whenever you upload a video, you will be prompted to tag it to a collection. If you don't choose a collection, it will be classified as general information that applies to the entire brand. The collection tag can be changed at any time by clicking into the Training Video and editing the Collection field.
Share training content with retailers automatically
Any retailer you’re Connected with on FurnishNearMe will automatically gain access to your training videos.
This includes the store manager and any salespeople who have been invited to the platform by their manager.
Salespeople can browse your full video library or view content linked through relevant product pages.
You can fine-tune who has access to your videos with Visibility Settings. With Visibility Settings, videos can be set to be Public (visible to retailers you are Connected with) or Private (only visible to you).
Track content engagement
The Training Center gives you visibility into how your training content is being used.
See which retailers and users have watched each of your videos.
See all the videos a specific retail employee has watched.
Use this information to identify knowledge gaps or follow up with stores that haven’t engaged with your content.

Connect with all the retailers you support on FurnishNearMe, and encourage retail managers to get their sales teams on the platform so they can access your training content.
Use concise, focused videos that help salespeople understand what makes a product special and how to sell it effectively.
Consider filming quick demos or walkthroughs of new products whenever you're at markets or in your showroom.
Regularly check your engagement stats to see which retailers are using your content and where follow-up might be needed.
Keep your video library up-to-date with training on both evergreen best-sellers and new product introductions.
Why the Training Center matters
Training in-store sales people is critical to your success. The better retail salespeople understand your products, the more confidently they’ll sell them—and that means more sales for you. But with constant staff turnover and limited time in each store, it’s tough to keep everyone up to speed.

Easily provide training to any store, anywhere: As long as a store has internet access, they can access your full trainings—no matter how small or remote. Every retailer gets the same valuable info you provide in person, so distance and size are no longer barriers to support.
Your Video Trainings exist in perpetuity, meaning salespeople can refer back to your trainings at any time to solidify their understanding.
Training Center FAQs
Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the Training Center.
Currently, only MP4 video files can be uploaded to the Training Center. Support for MOV video files is still in-development.
If your video was recorded on an iPhone, you'll need to use an online file converter on your computer to convert it to MP4 format before uploading it to the Training Center.
If you are interested in being able to upload other types of files besides videos, please contact our team and let us know!
To move a Training Video to a different Collection, click on themore_vertand select Move to Collection. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to choose which Collection to move the video to.
Yes! To share a Training Video via email, click into it and press the share Share button. Then enter the emails of the recipients and press Send.
This feature is still relatively new, so if you're having trouble with it please contact us.
When the Visibility of your Training Video is set to Public, all the retailers that are Connected with both you and the brand the video pertains to can view it.
When a Training Video is set to Private, it is only visible to you.
You can control who sees a Training Video with the Visibility Setting. To change the Visibility of a video, click themore_vertand select Make Private or Make Public.
The Content Engagement Stats feature is currently still in-development.
