Setting product prices for your clients
Your retailers need to have their products priced to sell to consumers. Providing pricing allows retailers to shop and buy from you directly.
How to get there
From the Dashboard under Connected Retailers select My Client List.
Select the specific retailer you want to manage.
Find your manufacturer name and select Manage Access & Distribution Control.
View available pricelists in the dropdown menus under Default Pricelists.
Retail Prices
This refers to the price your retailer would show a shopper. Retail prices show on the store's Shop on FurnishNearMe. Prices can be set manually for In-Stock products. The retailer can use your pricelist to set prices for products they don't stock.
Manually pricing products
The retailer can use the Product Lineup tool to set prices for products that are stocked or are in their showroom. If the retailer allows it, you can use this tool on their behalf to enter the retail price for products you sell that are in the retailer's showroom.
Pricelist products
You can provide a pricelist that the retailer can use to set prices on orderable products in your catalogs. Generally it's best to provide a wholesale pricelist to the retailer so they can easily calculate a retail price by entering their desired markup.
Where retail prices are used
Consumers who are viewing a general browse page on FurnishNearMe will see an approximate price for a product. This price is calculated by taking the highest value from available retailer shops and rounds up to the nearest $50 mark.
Consumers viewing products in a retailer’s Shop will see a specific retail price that they sell it for.
Retailers can see retail prices in their In-Stock lineup as well as the Shop Products page when shopping your products.
Wholesale Prices
Wholesale prices are shown to the retail buyer as they are viewing your products. Listing your prices helps the retailer when they are shopping for products for their showroom.

Default Pricelists
Unless restricted, a retailer can view any pricelist the manufacturer offers. As a sales rep you can determine which of these pricelists should be the retailer's default experience.
Global default
This is the manufacturer's standard pricelist that applies to most retailers. This option simplifies pricing management as all retailers start with this default unless a more specific pricelist is selected.
Set a specific pricelist
You can assign a more specific pricelist that's tailored to a retailer's circumstances. For example, you may give access to a discounted pricelist for a retailer who is a member of a buying group.
Restricting pricelists
You can lock a retailer to only view their assigned pricelist. When this restriction is enabled:
The retailer cannot view or switch to any other pricelists
They cannot see other pricing options when shopping your product
You can assign a more specific pricelist that's tailored to a retailer's circumstances. For example, you may give access to a discounted pricelist for a retailer who is a member of a buying group.
