  • Identify new business opportunities.

  • Make it easy for retailers in your territory to Connect with you.

How to get there

  • Navigate to the My Territory page by clicking the menu icon in the top left of your screen.

  • Select public Territory from the menu options.

  • Alternatively, select Define Your Territory from your dashboard.

Set up your territory

Your territory can include whole states/provinces, specific zip/postal codes, or a mixture of both.

By state/province

Using the States and Province checklist is the quickest way to set up your territory.

  • You can select an entire state for your territory, even if you only represent part of it. The main drawback is that retailers from areas you don't cover will appear on your map, but you can ignore these.

  • For more precise territory definition, skip selecting the whole state and instead choose only the specific zip codes you actually cover.

By zipcode, city, or phone area code

Zip code and postal code territories enable more precise territory mapping, especially when you cover partial states or specific regions. It takes more time to set up correctly, but it gives a more accurate representation of the retailers in the area you serve.

Zip codes

Copy and paste zip codes from your records or enter individual zip codes.

City

You can add the relevant zip codes from a specific city by first selecting a State and City from the Advanced Search menu.

Phone area code

You can add the relevant zip codes from a phone area code by entering the area code in the Advanced Search menu.

Multiple brand territories

If you work with multiple brands, you may have a several territories that covers different regions.

You will only set up 1 collective territory

You will not set up separate territories for each brand. If your brands have slightly different territories, make sure your territory covers all the states or zip codes you serve, even if you only represent 1 brand in a particular area.

Brand defined territory

Some brands control territory definitions centrally to ensure compliance with their distribution policies.

  • If your brand has defined your territory you will see a separate list of the areas they have defined.

  • You should define your own territory even if one of your brands has set one for you. The territory that they set only applies to their products. If you work with multiple brands you will need your own defined territory to access all of your retailers.
